    Subject Internet of Things (Internet of Things, IoT) is gaining momentum. The Finnish company Wirepas introduced a new framework for the creation and development of wireless mesh networks. It is about Wirepas Pino – the first fully automatic multi-hop wireless network for IoT, designed for Machine to machine and sensor networks.

    Stack Wirepas Pino is designed from the ground up based on the simplification of the network organization: According to the developers, the network takes on the features that are very difficult, if not impossible, to implement with centralized control. This allows all nodes Pino work independently and efficiently.

    Pino does not need to be configured for easy deployment, capacity and service network. Enough to provide power nodes and gateways, as the network starts to work, adapting to change. Unlimited scalability allows you to create a network with a large density of nodes and covers a large area. All nodes, regardless of their role – even routers operate on batteries for years.

    The advantages of the network is assigned an effective use of time and frequency domains, high reliability and energy efficiency.

    Stack Pino is completely independent of the hardware and is suitable for a wide range of applications. It allows you to use any chipset for 2.4 GHz and less than 1 GHz. This makes it possible to deploy a network of indoor and across the city.

    In November Wirepas present its development in Amsterdam, at the event, European Utility Week.
