Gigabyte intends to begin selling a new model of gaming notebook this week, the Ultramax P35X. Model Ultramax P35X has a rather slim profile (20.9 mm) and has several configuration options. In the maximum configuration buyers will get the display with a resolution of 2880×1620 pixels and a wide viewing angle, 4-core processor Intel Core i7-4860HQ (Haswell) with a frequency of 3.6 GHz, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD with two 2 TB hard drives and Nvidia GTX 980M graphics card with 8 GB of GDDR5 memory. Alternately, consumers can get the Ultramax P35X with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, Intel Core i7-4860HQ with a 2.4 GHz frequency, 4 GB RAM, and just the 512 GB SSD.
The Ultramax P35X will come with built-in Mini DisplayPort, four USB ports, HDMI, a full-sized SD card reader, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and LAN Ethernet. The notebook will be an extremely light 2.2 kg. Unfortunately, the cost of Gigabyte Ultramax P35X is not specified. The laptop will be available from Amazon once released.
