Samsung’s most awaited upcoming announcement is for flagship smartphone Galaxy S6. However, the company has apparently decided to postpone the premiere. Instead, two new flagships were introduced targeted at a younger audience – smarphones Samsung E5 and E7.
Both models resemble previous smartphones and, in particular, the A-series models. They are quite thin, durable and graceful. In addition, both the Samsung E5 and E7 support two SIM-cards.
Samsung Galaxy E7 received a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 4-core processor with 1.2 GHz, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of internal memory and a 13-megapixel camera. In addition, the machine is equipped with an impressive 2950 mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy E5 is equipped more modestly. On board there is 1.5GB of RAM, a built-in, 8 megapixel camera, 5-inch screen and a battery 2400 mAh.
Samsung particularly emphasizes the 5 MP front-facing camera to help snap better selfies and can be used by voice commands. The Samsung E5 and E7 will become available for sale January 20, the price will be $360 and $430, respectively. The phones will be available in two color options – black and white.
