Company Freescale Semiconductor announced a communication processor QorIQ LS1043A, according to the manufacturer, who is the most energy-efficient 64-bit processor on architecture ARM, designed for software-defined networking and virtualization of network functions (SDN / NFV).
The need for such solutions is increasing as cloud technology are gaining popularity as a service provider required standardized flexible platform with low power consumption.
