A funny initiative recently showed the U.S. space agency NASA. Office decided to share with the public accurate three-dimensional models of asteroids and satellites.
They are as accurate as possible – albeit tiny – digital versions of reality. Why do people need? To print them in 3D-printers, of course!
Now enthusiasts are able to upload files to the appropriate NASA phones and produce a perfect 4-inch copies of celestial objects.
Total U.S. experts have published 22 source. Take advantage of their generosity can anyone who has access to the necessary equipment. For people that are seriously interested in astronomy – this is a very unique gift.
At NASA, it seems, on its laurels not going to stop. Reported readiness agency open access to the same (and even more perfect) things in the future.
A good way to promote not only science, but also 3D-printing.
