In August, the company announced its flagship MediaTek chip – MT6795. Eight-core processor based on the Cortex-A53 runs at a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz, and for the schedule meets the PowerVR G6200 GPU.
The new line of chipsets also includes MT6735 (eight-Cortex-A53 with an operating frequency of 1.7 GHz, Mali-T760MP2), MT6732 (quad-core Cortex-A53 1.5GHz, Mali-T760MP2) and MT6735 (quad-core Cortex-A53 1.5 GHz and graphics Mali-T720).
All new chips MediaTek focused on the use of the different categories of devices. Processors feature a rich variety of plug-ins, including LTE. Now, MediaTek has introduced a new member of this family of tech – MT6753.
The new eight-core processor SoC offers Cortex-A53 processor with a clock frequency of 1.7 GHz and graphics Mali-T760 GPU. The chipset supports LTE Cat. 4 and covers more LTE frequencies in comparison with the previous model line.
MediaTek MT6753 can support up to 1080p resolution displays and camera modules at 16 megapixels with a quality movie recording up to 1080p and 30 frames per second. Mass production MT6753 starts in the second quarter of 2015.
