LG Electronics has announced its first mobile chipset, which was named NUCLUN. Along with him was presented and the first smartphone built on its base – LG G3 Screen.
The chipset is an eight-NUCLUN decision which to perform intensive tasks using 4 core ARM Cortex-A15 processor with a clock speed of 1.5 GHz, and for the treatment of simpler processes used 4 core ARM Cortex-A7 (1,2 GHz). The new chipset also uses ARM big.LITTLE and has support for LTE-A Cat.6.
As for the smartphone LG G3 Screen, it was presented in three versions – F490L, F490K and F490S. The device looks a bit more than the LG G3, and that he possessed 5.9-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels.
On board there are 13 megapixel rear and 2.1 megapixel front camera, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB of non-volatile memory, and battery 3000 mAh. Dimensions of the smartphone managed by Android 4.4 KitKat, are 157,8 x 81,8 x 9,5 mm; weight – 182 grams.
According to LG, the new product has been developed exclusively for the South Korean market, where its price is about $ 750.
