Company introduced SSD G.Skill Phoenix Blade, made in the form of an expansion card PCIe. The drive is designed for personal computers used for gaming, industrial design, graphics, high definition video and sound recordings.
In fact, in the design of new items included four drives, which are combined into an array RAID0. Each controller is used LSI SF-2281 and the total amount of flash memory MLC NAND is 480 GB. Interface card is equipped with PCIe Gen 2.0 x8.
According to the manufacturer, the peak data rate modes of reading and writing is 2000 MB / s. Sequential write speed up to 1050 MB / s sequential read – 1900 MB / sec. Performance of random access operations in blocks of 4 KB reaches 245,000 IOPS in the case record and 90,000 IOPS when reading.
The drive supports TRIM and SCSI UNMAP, as well as the attributes of SMART, which allows to maintain high performance in operation and monitor the “health” of the drive. Data integrity is ensured using a code error detection and correction BCH ECC (up to 55 bits per sector) and a mechanism similar to RAID 5. manufacturer provides G.Skill Phoenix Blade three-year warranty.
Card Dimensions – 170 x 70 x 21 mm. Its price the manufacturer is not named.
