Apple, busy buying Beats by Dr. Dre, was on the second line in a new ranking of the most expensive brands in the world, while Google came out on this indicator in the lead. At least, according to global research agency Millward Brown (and argue about the results of this research makes no sense).
According to a study published in the form of rating “100 Top BrandZ”, the Apple brand over the past year “fell” by 20 percent, to $ 148 billion. Meanwhile, Google has put on weight by 40% and was valued at $ 159 billion.
In third place was by IBM. On the fourth – Microsoft. Amazon – on the 10th, growing by leaps and bounds Chinese web portal Tencent (increase in price – 97%, $ 53 billion) – on the 14th, Facebook (growth – 68%) – by 21-m, and Samsung – on the 29th.
You can specify the expected question – “and how Millward Brown who counts above and those below the list?”. It uses its own, proprietary tool “Optimor”, taking into account many different parameters (which, of course, kept secret). Data are collected as the company says, thanks to the polls more than 100 000 companies and more than 2 million customers worldwide.
Of course, trust is 100% similar lists, it is not necessary. But to take or not to take the information into account – a separate case and the decision of each.
